1. Who we are
This website is operated by Richard Bueki, trading as Quiet Signal ("we", "us", "our"). Throughout these terms, "you" means the visitor or customer.
By visiting tryquietsignal.com or buying from us, you agree to these terms. If you don’t agree with them, please don’t use the site.

2. Our product is a cosmetic, not a drug
Signal 5 is a cosmetic scalp serum. It is not an FDA-approved drug and it is not a medical treatment.
Statements on this site have not been evaluated by the Food and Drug Administration. Signal 5 is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease or condition, including hair loss.
Any research referenced on this site relates to individual ingredients and not to Signal 5 as a finished product. We have not conducted a clinical trial on our finished formula and we don’t claim to have done.
Nothing on this site is medical advice. Results vary between individuals. If your hair loss is sudden, severe, patchy, or accompanied by other symptoms, please see a doctor. If you are pregnant, breastfeeding, taking prescribed medication, or managing a health condition, talk to your doctor, midwife, lactation consultant or pharmacist before using any new topical product — we publish our full ingredient list precisely so you can.
3. Using the product safely
- For external use only. Apply to the scalp.
- Avoid contact with eyes. If contact occurs, rinse with water.
- Discontinue use if irritation occurs.
- Keep out of reach of children.
- Store in a cool, dry place.
- Check the ingredient list if you have known allergies or sensitivities. Our formula contains soy and wheat derivatives.
4. Orders and pricing
Placing an order is an offer to buy, which we accept when we send your confirmation email. We may refuse or cancel any order — for example if a product is out of stock, a price was listed in error, or we suspect fraud. If we cancel an order you’ve paid for, we refund it in full.
Prices are in US dollars and exclude sales tax, which is calculated at checkout. We may change prices at any time, but changes never affect an order already placed.
We try to display products and colours accurately, but screens vary and we can’t guarantee your display shows them exactly.
5. Subscriptions
This section matters, so it’s written plainly.
How billing works
- 1 bottle: $59, charged every month
- 3 bottles: $150, charged every 3 months
Your subscription renews automatically at the price and frequency shown at checkout, using the payment method you provided, until you cancel. We’ll email you three days before every renewal charge.
How to cancel
Log into your account and cancel in two clicks. You can also pause, skip a delivery, or change the frequency from the same place. There is no phone call, no chat, and no retention process to sit through. You can cancel at any time, including before your first renewal.
If you’d rather we did it for you, email hello@tryquietsignal.com and we’ll cancel it and confirm by reply.
If something goes wrong
If a renewal charges after you meant to cancel: if it hasn’t shipped, we’ll cancel and refund it. If it has shipped, keep it — we’ll refund it anyway.
If a payment fails, we’ll retry over the following week and email you each time. If it still can’t be collected, the subscription is paused rather than cancelled, and you can restart it whenever you like.
We may change subscription prices, but never without emailing you at least 30 days beforehand, and you can cancel before any new price takes effect.
6. Shipping and returns

7. Your account
You’re responsible for keeping your account details secure and for activity that happens under your account. Tell us promptly if you think someone else has accessed it. You must be at least 18 to buy from us.
8. Our content
All content on this site — text, images, logos, product names, layout and code — belongs to us or our licensors and is protected by copyright and trademark law. You may not copy, republish or use it commercially without written permission.
9. Reviews and things you send us
If you send us a review, photo, comment or suggestion, you grant us permission to use, publish and adapt it in connection with the brand, without payment or obligation. You confirm it’s your own and doesn’t infringe anyone’s rights.
We may publish reviews that aren’t flattering as well as ones that are, and we won’t edit reviews to make them more positive.
We’re not obliged to publish, keep or respond to anything you send.
10. Third-party services
Our site relies on third-party services including Shopify (store and payments), our fulfilment partner, and email and analytics providers. Their own terms and privacy practices apply to what they do. Links to other sites aren’t endorsements, and we’re not responsible for their content.
11. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we’re not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from your use of the site or products. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the order in question.
Nothing in these terms limits liability for anything that cannot lawfully be limited, including death or personal injury caused by negligence, or fraud.
12. Accuracy and availability
We work to keep the site accurate and current, but we don’t guarantee it’s free of errors or always available. We may change or withdraw products, prices and content at any time without notice.
13. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The current version is always on this page with its date at the top, and continuing to use the site means you accept the current version. Material changes affecting existing subscribers will be emailed.
14. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Hungary, and any dispute will be handled by the courts there.
